Ray Rosales (Baby Ray), age 65, of Yoakum, an unconditionally loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 17, 2022.

We were so blessed to be a part of the years that God gave him. He was a man who always put God first and other people's needs before his own. He often said "The Lord will make a way!" He loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren dearly. He also loved being outdoors and going fishing, even though he sometimes came back home empty handed. He was the Dallas Cowboys biggest fan. Throughout his life he was viewed as a role model often teaching many young men all of his various trades. He was so strong and such a fighter. He will be missed dearly.

He is survived by his mother, Beatrice Gonzales Rosales; wife of twenty-four years, Adilia Rosales "Dee Dee"; daughters, Betty Jo Valdez, Brittney Trevino, Bridgette L. Henry and Haileen Rosales; sons, Vincent Rosales and Bryan Bustillos; sisters, Rose Rosales, Delfina Osio and Carman Rioz; brothers, Fernando Rosales, Ferman Rosales and Benito Rosales; grandchildren, Amber Rosales, Caleb Rosales, Lorenzo Sedeno, Makenzie Sedeno, Malikiah Bustillos, Maliah Bustillos, Kylee Henry, Seleste Rosales, Samantha Rosales and Kaiden Rosales and fourteen great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Juan Rosales; sister, Yolanda Rosales and brother, Martin Rosales.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022, 5-7 PM at Freund Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 19, 2022, 12 PM at HIS Church of Reconciliation, 711 Hopkins Road in Yoakum with Joel Davila officiating. Everyone is welcome to join the family for a time of food and fellowship following the service in the fellowship hall.

Honorary Pallbearers include Jesse Valdez, Caleb Rosales, Lorenzo Sedino, Vince Rosales, Kaiden Rosales, Kyle Henry, Christian Henry, Carson Henry and Bryan Bustillos.
