Remilda Schultz, 92, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 20, 2016. She was born in DeWitt County on January 5, 1924 to the late Henry and Amanda Kruger Bade. Remilda married Eldred Schultz on February 18, 1944 in San Diego, CA. Remilda was a wonderful homemaker and cook, and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of the Cuero Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary for many years and very active with the Women of St. Marks Lutheran Church. She is survived by a son, Glynn Robert and wife, Kathy, and daughter, Yvonne Thamm and husband, David; three grandchildren, Toya Wagner, Shannon Rios, and Lance Thamm; and eight great-grandchildren, Jade Hayes, Anthony Rios, Kaitlyn Wagner, Cannon Wagner, Abigail Rios, Seth Bradley, Amberly Rios, and Amanda Rios. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eldred; daughter, Patricia Ann; her parents; two brothers, Heinie and Berner Bade; and great-granddaughter, Isabella Marie. Visitation will be at Freund Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. Services will be held at St. Marks Lutheran Church on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 10 a.m. with Pastor Sharon Wiggins officiating.
