Richard Dimas, 61, of Cuero passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 15, 2022.  He was born on June 18, 1961 in New Ulm, Minnesota to the late Prisciliano and Beatrice Penilla Dimas.

Richard loved music!  He was a great dancer, and could often be heard playing the maracas while singing to his favorite songs.  Long car rides with the stereo playing were some of his most cherished moments.  Always the life of the party, Richard loved spending time with his family and truly enjoyed eating whatever was served.

He is survived by his sisters, Elva Saldaña, Delia Guajardo, and Rosieann Juarez; brothers, Daniel Saldaña, Joe Dimas, Raul Dimas, and Isaac Dimas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Johnny Saldaña and Gilbert Herrera.

Visitation will be Monday, September 19, 2022, 5 to 7 pm at Freund Funeral Home.  Services will be Tuesday, September 20, 2022, 2 pm, at Freund Funeral Home with Pastor Stan Viquez officating.  Interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Cuero.
