Robert Lee Keech, 75, of Cuero passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023.  He was born December 1, 1947 in Seguin to Alfred and Caroline Rethaber Keech.  He married Deborah Lee Rogers on August 1, 1981 at Calvary Baptist Church in Cuero.  He was a mechanic for Cowey Brothers for thirteen years.  He was a scout master for the boy scouts and he enjoyed teaching people about hunting, fishing and working on vehicles.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Deborah; his nieces, Tina Cobb, Candace Adkins (Chad), Tiffany Key (Michael) and Brittany Garza (Daniel); nephews, Anthony Keech (Gail), Jason Rogers (Carolyn), Todd Mutschler, Kerry Mutschler and Bubba Nelson (Autumn); sister-in-laws, Virginia Isenberg, Beverly Nelson (Jerry) and Jackie Reynolds (Joe) and many great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, A.C Sonny Keech.

Graveside Services will be Saturday, August 5, 2023, 10:00 AM at Hillside Cemetery with Pastor Jerry Nelson officiating.

Pallbearers include Jason Rogers, Daniel Garza, Michael Key, Layne Rogers, Peyton Key, Bruce Brown, Kerry Mutschler and Todd Mutschler.

Honorary Pallbearers include Martin DeLeon, David Ruiz, Jesus Boone Richard Bosart, Bobby Pompa and all his great nieces and nephews.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Cuero Church of Christ or Harbor Hospice of Victoria.
