Obituary
Rocky Allen Rhoades, 60, of Cuero, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2010. He was born Feb. 4, 1950, in Pipes Creek, to Frank Rhoades and Evelyn Ludecke. He married Susie Rhoades in Cuero in 1974. He was an electrician and served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife; daughter, Tammy DeAnn Rhoades of Victoria; sons, Christopher Alan Rhoades (Shannon R. Molands) and Zachary Morgan Rhoades, both of Cuero; sisters, Julia Walpole of LaWard and Jo Nell Hopson of Aransas Pass; grandchildren, Nichole L. Rhoades of Cuero, Cody M. Cavazos, Desirae N. Rhoades, Caleb R. Cavazos, and Kyleigh M. Cavazos, all of Victoria, and Kaylee M. Rhoades of Cuero; three step-grandsons, Justin L. Molands, Austin J. Martinez, and Dusty J. Riedel, all of Cuero; great-grandchild, Haden M. Knox of Cuero.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Ronald Rhoades, Sam Rhoades, Dusty Rhoades, and Bob Rhoades.
A memorial service will held Saturday, July 24, 2010, 4 p.m., at First Baptist Church (408 N Gonzales, Cuero) with Pastor Larry Cheesman officiating.
