Ronald "Ron" Ralph Burrell, 69, of Cuero passed away July 3, 2019.  He was born to Norman and Mildred Burrell on February 11, 1950 in Asheville, North Carolina.  Ron served in the United States Army for twenty years, then continued his career working for the United States Postal Service for twenty years where he retired.

He is survived by his mother, Mildred Burrell of Jacksonville, FL; daughter, Rachel Wise of St. Joseph, MO; sons, Roger Burrell of San Antonio and Thomas Kinslow of St. Joseph, MO; brother, Roger Burrell of Jacksonville, FL; and 4 Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Burrell and sister, Wanda Coleman.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2019, 9 AM at First Baptist Church in Cuero with a Funeral Service to begin at 10 AM with Dr. Glenn Robertson officiating.  Interment will be Friday, July 12, 2019 at 10:15 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with full Military Honors.
