Obituary
Cuero-Rosa M. Ordonez, 77, of Cuero passed away Saturday, January 31, 2009. Rosa was born June 19, 1931 in Cuero to the late Juan and Lorenza Espaza Canos.
She is survived by her sons, Pete Ordonez, Rudy Ordonez Sr. and wife, Yolanda, and Antonio Jose Ordonez and fiancé Linda; sisters, Petra Owen, Nancy Guarjardo, Manuela 'Sue' Woods, Delores Dahl, Lupe Gonzales, and Mary Anzualda; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and life-long companion, Ricky Phillips. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass will be Wednesday, February 4, 2009, 2:00 p.m., at Freund Funeral Home Chapel with Father Kirby Hlavaty officiating. Interment will follow immediately at Hillside Cemetery.
