Rosa V. Saenz, 90, of Cuero passed away Thursday, September 27, 2012. She was born on June 10, 1922 in Goliad County to Jeronimo and Maclovia Vega. She married her beloved husband Emilio Saenz, on January 23, 1937 in Nordheim.

She is survived by daughters, Andrea Cantu of Fort Worth and Sandy Gragert of Houston, and Ramona Garcia of Lubbock; sons, Emilio Saenz of Cuero, Robert Saenz of Houston, and Eddie Saenz of Sedona, AZ; brother, George Ortega; sister, Refugia Lechuga of Victoria; 22 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; daughter, Rosa Garcia; sisters, Maclovia Vega and Francis Castillo,; and brother Jorge Vega.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 28, 2012 from 6-8 pm, with a rosary starting at 7 pm, at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 2:30 pm at St Michaels Catholic Church with Father Daniels officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
