Rosella Cash Weston, 80, of Westhoff passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2010. She was born July 12, 1929 in Midland to the late Albert C. and Essie Mae Staton. Throughout her lifetime, Rosella managed the Whataburger in Corpus Christi, worked at CA Pharr Drugs Confectionary, C & R Restaurant & Drive-In in Meyersville, and managed the Nixon Livestock Community Cafe. Rosella enjoyed sewing, quilting, latch hook, and embroidery.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon C. White of Westhoff; sons, Edwin W. Cash and wife, Joyce, of Westhoff and Vance M. Cash of Corpus Christi; sister, Flosie M. Thomas of Corpus Christi; brothers, Mart Staton and Cecil Staton, both of Corpus Christi; grandchildren, Lania Wells of Smiley, Sondra Brzozowski of Westhoff, Heather White of El Campo, Colton White of Westhoff, Hilary Meyer of Victoria, Candace Lucier of Austin, Kiz Cox of Port Alto, Sean Cash of Cuero, Richard Cash of San Antonio, and Brooke Carroll of San Antonio; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Woodrow W. Cash; and second husband, Clifton Weston.

Visitation will be Friday, June 4, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday, June 5, 2010, 10 a.m., at Freund Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Thomas Bradley officiating. Interment will follow at Westhoff Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Colton White, Justin Brzozowski, Shawn Malandakis, Richard Cash, Sean Cash, and Robert Weston.
