Rosemary Stolleis, 89, a resident of The Good Samaritan Society Lake Forest Village Denton Texas entered eternal rest Wednesday, June 5, 2019. Rosemary was born in Bonham on September 4, 1929 to the late Wilbur and Ethel Dearing (nee Compton). She graduated from Rice University in 1954 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Living in Houston she worked at First United Methodist Church as a secretary and met her husband. In 1972 the family moved to Cuero which she called home for 41 years. During those years she was active member at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lindenau. She worked as a bookkeeper for Weber Insurance Agency and later Weber Motor Company. Upon retirement she continued to enjoy sewing, knitting, crocheting, and reading. In July 2013, after a short illness in Cuero, she became a resident of Lake Forest Village Denton. She always spoke of how welcomed she felt by other residents and how the Lake Forest staff always took great care of her.
She is survived by her children, W. Alan Stolleis of Dallas, Sherri Stolleis of Moulton, Karl A. Stolleis of Placitas, NM; sister, Linda Dearing Epperson of Garland; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Adolph Stolleis; brothers, Rogers and Morton Dearing; and sister, Lorraine.
The family asked that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the American Heart Society in her name.
