Obituary

Sis. Rosie Lee Center was born October 7, 1929, in Thomaston to the late Mack Peoples, Sr. and Mary Jenkins Peoples. She attended Thomaston School. She was a nurse's aide and a housewife. Sis. Center professed Christ at an early age where she was a very faithful member of the Mt. Bethany Baptist Church where Rev. Kelvin Washington is the pastor.

She was united in marriage to Jesse LeRoy Center on March 31, 1956 and to this union. She had two children (and both proceeded her in death). She leaves to celebrate her life.
She is survived by her sister, Mrs. Nellie Nichols (Rev. William Nichols, Sr.; daughter-in-law, Shirley Lewis; grandchildren, Dwayne, Terrance, Krishnar, and Chandra; numerous great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 14, at 10:30 a.m. at Mt. Bethany Baptist Church with Rev. Kelvin Washington officiating. Interment will follow at Thomaston Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Chad Taylor, J'Von Thomas, Mack Peoples, Donald Burden, Artrel Thomas, and Anthony Royston. Honorary Pallbearers are her nephews, grandsons, and church Deacons.
