Cuero – Ruth Heinricke Egg, 94, of Meyersville, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2009. She was born March 23, 1915 in Arneckeville to the late C.A. Henry and Mary Schorlemmer Sager. She married Isaac Egg on February 11, 1945. Ruth was a teacher for Meyersville Independent School District and an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her sons, Isaac H. Egg of Meyersville, Richard Egg and wife Linda of Salado, Robert Egg of Arneckeville, Daniel Egg and wife Karen of Houston; sister, Frieda Bade and husband Heine of Cuero; and grandchildren, Beth Atchley, Laura Leom, Stacy Bowen and Jordan Egg.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years; sisters, Lina Koehler, Leona Sager, Welma Sager, Ellen Sager; brothers, Edwin, Paul, Oscar and Lenard Sager.

Visitation will be Monday, June 1, 2009 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2009, 2 p.m., at St John's Lutheran Church in Meyersville with Rev. Eric Petty officiating. Interment will immediately follow at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
