Obituary

CUERO - Sandra Lou Franklin of Cuero was called home Monday July 13, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family. She was born Nov. 19, 1949, in Kennedy, to John Arnold Moore and the late Mary Crone.

Sandra was a devoted mother, wife, grandmother and great grandmother. She made the world a better place with her unwavering love and through the love of her children and her grandchildren. She was our best friend and she will be truly missed by her family and friends. She enlightened the lives of everyone that knew her. Her recipe for life and love will be carried on for generations to come.

She is survived by her father, John Arnold Moore; her husband, Jack Franklin; her children, Carlton W McBride Jr. and wife Blanca, Penny Lane Ybarra and husband Zeke Ybarra; stepchildren, Tamara Walters and husband John, Stephen Franklin and wife Jennifer, Jack Franklin Jr. and wife Margaret; her grandchildren, Candice Marie Vastine, Misty Dawn McBride, Bethany Hobbs and husband Jefferson, Aaron McBride, Kevin Ybarra: step-grandchildren, Hayden and Jared Franklin, Olivia Franklin, Cole, Erin and Quentin Franklin; great-grandchildren, Dayton Asdahl, Tanner Trahan, Dakota Vastine, Shyanne Wallace; sisters, Patricia Smith (Kenneth), Linda Schueneman (James), Beverly Molands, Kay Farmer; brother, John Moore Jr. (Mary); and numerous nephews and nieces that she truly loved.

She was preceded in death by her son, Kevin James McBride; mother, Mary Crone; sister, Marilyn Moore; grandparents, Jimmy and Lillie Light; and stepmother, Norma Moore.

Pallbearers: Jonathan Molands, Ralph Smith, Greg Smith, James Schueneman, Wesley Ledwik and Jonathan Ybarra.

Visitation will be held at Freund Funeral Home, Wednesday, July 15, 2009 from 6-8 p.m.
Services will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with Chaplain Steve Borowitz officiating. Graveside services will follow at Lindenau Cemetery.
