Sharon Kay Parker of Cuero/Victoria entered into Glory on March 6, 2024. She was born July 28, 1957 in San Antonio to George and Patricia Olson.  She graduated Cuero High School in 1975.  Soon after, she met Kenneth A. Parker on the tennis courts in Cuero and they married June 3, 1977.  They moved to Ennis, TX where she worked at Merrill Lynch and several flower shops.  They moved back home and settled in the Mission Valley area where she then worked for Kleinecke's Flower Shop as the shop manager, designer and florist for over 30 years.  She enjoyed design and decorating, but she found true joy in taking pictures.  She had a huge smile on her face when she was capturing moments of her family and her grandchildren.  Sharon played many instruments, but enjoyed playing the organ at Hebron Baptist Church.

Sharon was a wonderful Wife, Mother, MiMi and servant of The Lord. There was and is no other woman that could have been a better partner in this life than Sharon.  She was and will always be the other half of her husband.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Kenneth Parker of Victoria; son Nathan Parker (Shelly) of Stratton; daughters, Hannah Parker of Victoria, and Naomi Sauer (Logan) of Victoria; and four beautiful and dearly loved grandchildren, Noah and Abigail Parker, Matthew Parker, and Brinley Sauer.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 12, 2024, from 5 to 7 pm at Freund Funeral Home in Cuero.  Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2024, 10:00 am at Freund Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Penley and Pastor Kenneth Parker officiating.  Interment will follow at Alexander Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Kenneth Parker, Nathan Parker, Logan Sauer, Charles Wittmer, George Olson, Dwayne Parker, Jim Parker and Scott Pair.

Honorary pallbearers include Noah Parker and Billy Jordan.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Alexander Cemetery Association or Calvary Baptist Church.
