Sherri Lee Flaitz Caskey (Hilscher), 56, of Port Lavaca passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013. She was born March 24, 1957 in Tampa, Florida to Marian C Hilscher of Port Lavaca, Texas, the late Johnny L Flaitz of Fort Myers, Florida and Frank Hilscher of Colorado Springs, Co.

Sherri was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt and a friend to many. She was the happiest when she got to spend time with her grandchildren, she loved them with all her heart and was always ready to see them. Sherri always enjoyed reading and going to the beach. She will be greatly missed.

Sherri had two Sons: Robert Ora Caskey (Missy) Katy, Texas and Charles Dylan Caskey, Houston, TX; Grandchildren: Riley & Caden Caskey, Katy, TX and Brooklyn Cash Caskey, Cuero, TX; Sisters: Cindy Flaitz Benoit (Royce), Port Lavaca, TX, Kelli Hilscher (Edmund), Paradise, Newfoundland; Brothers: Earl Hilscher, Port Lavaca, TX, John M Flaitz, Tellico Plains, TN, Brian Flaitz, North Carolina, Allan Flaitz, Ft Myers, FL.; Nieces: Natasha Munoz (Rene), Keisha Cady (George), Marie & Felicia Benoit, Brianna Passmore (John) all of Port Lavaca, Alysha St. Clair (Jason) Point Comfort, TX; Nephews: Royce Benoit, Jr. (Sheila), Dalton Ruddick (Leslie) and Bryce Hilscher all of Port Lavaca, TX; Sherri had numerous great nieces and nephews who she loved and adored.

Services will be at Alamo Heights Baptist Church in Port Lavaca, Texas on Thursday, October 17th at 10 am in the morning.
