Sunshine Criscoe McLeod, 102, of Cuero passed away Monday, September 7, 2015. She was born July 21, 1913 in Quitman, MS to the late Robert Louie Criscoe and Molly Holcomb Criscoe. She graduated from Mississippi Women's College with a degree in music. Sunshine went on to marry the love of her life, Hugh M. McLeod, on June 28, 1936 in Hattiesburg, MS.

She is survived by son, Hugh Milton McLeod, Jr. (Kathleen Reilly McLeod) of Cuero; grandchildren, Michael Reilly McLeod, MD of Cuero, Kelley McLeod Sullivan, MSW of Austin; great-grandchildren, Madeline Grace McLeod, Brendan Davis McLeod, Annabel Rose McLeod, all of Cuero, Elise Juliet Sullivan, Parker Elliot Sullivan, Collete Marie Sullivan, and Quinn Alexander McLeod Sullivan, all of Austin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her beloved husband.

A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church on Thursday, September 10, 2015 beginning at 10 am with Rev. Bill Cotman officiating.
