Cuero, Susan Tripp, 61, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2008 from health complications due to her two year battle with Legionnaires Disease.

Susan was born in Alhambra, California on April 5, 1947 and was adopted as a toddler by the late Herb and Melba Nash. She married Larry Tripp in July of 1967 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Susan was a resident in Spring Branch and worked in the local area of Bulverde for many years. She had a green thumb for gardening, a passion for arts and crafts, and loved all animals.

Susan is survived by her loving husband of 41 years; daughters, Sherry Tripp of Austin and Shelly Cochran of San Antonio; brother, Jim Nash of Ventura, California; grandson, Cody Cochran of Spring Branch; one niece and two nephews; and her canine companion, "Wookie".

There will be a graveside service November 8, 2008, 11:00 a.m. at Hillside Cemetery in Cuero, Texas.
