Obituary
Sylvia Ortiz, 60, of Cuero passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014. She was born November 27, 1953 in Cuero to the late Anicascio Galindo and Eufemia Guajardo.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Lee Ortiz; daughter, Jessica Martin of South Carolina; son, Michael Ortiz of Cuero; sisters, Mary Galindo of Meyersville and Margie Hernandez of Benavides; brother, Victor Galindo of Cuero; five grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Helen Mejia; and brothers, Pete Galindo, Domingo Galindo, and Del Fino Galindo.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 2, 2014 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be held Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 1 p.m. at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Meyersville with Father Charles E. Otsiwah officiating. Interment will follow at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery.
