Sylvia Elaine Talley, 76, of Victoria, passed away Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011. She was born Dec. 1, 1934, in Lampasas, to the late Jack and Irene Gaylord of Cuero.

Sylvia was retired and she loved making arts and crafts, going to Bingo, and spending time with her family and friends. She was also a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan.

She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Austin (Rick) of Cuero, Rhonda Neubauer of Shiner, and Shanon Talley of Victoria; son, Darrell Talley (Jennifer) of Victoria; sister, Bobbie Parker of Cuero; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her partner, Jimmie Scales; and her sister, Genevia Scruggs of Illinois.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Freund Funeral Home in Cuero. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at Freund Funeral Home in Cuero, with Pastor Les Cole officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Nick Neubauer, Russell Neubauer, Chad Neubauer, Doston Whitfield, Jack Parker, and Jim Shields.
