Theodore "T.C." Simon, 84, of Cuero, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2015. He was born August 5, 1930 in Edna to the late Rollie W. Simon, Sr. and Adella Gabrysh Simon. He married Erna Lee Leister on December 16, 1950 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Cuero. He worked in concrete construction and for Texas Eastern Pipeline until retirement. T.C. was an avid rancher and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years, Erna Lee Simon; son, Ted C. Simon and wife, Sandra, of Cuero; sister, Annie Laurie Chiros of Cuero; grandchildren, Shane Simon and wife, Kathy, of Cuero and Tina King of Houston; and great-grandchildren, Sarah Simon, Kaden Simon, and Triton "T.C." Simon, all of Cuero.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Barbara Gayden; and brother, Rollie W. Simon, Jr.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 13, 2015 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with a rosary beginning at 7 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held Saturday, February 14, 2015, 10 a.m., at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father David Berger officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Ty Luddeke, Greg Gossett, Steve Goebel, Randy Liesman, Bruce Liesman, and Bill Hickey. Honorary pallbearers include Ronnie Slovacek, Barry Barnett, and Larry Barnett.
