Trinidad "Trino" Julio Hernandez Jr.  passed away peacefully at home on Thursday afternoon, January 27, 2022 at the age of 71.  He was born November 19, 1950 in Cuero to the late Trinidad J. Hernandez Sr. and Mary Vasquez Hernandez.

Trino did a number of jobs, but his most prized and favorite job and hobby was to BBQ.  His BBQ team name was Moke Shack Cookers.  Trino married, Bobbi Hernandez and later divorced.

Trino is survived by his daughters, Monica Hernandez - Dirkes (Sean) of Evansdale, IA, and Michelle Lopez (Bruce) of San Diego, CA; eight grandchildren, Darrin Hernandez, Crystalynn Hernandez, Antony Hernandez, Destiny Dirkes, and Danielle Dirkes all of Evansdale, IA, Ismael Reyes, Elyce Delossantos Carr and  Bella Reyes; Three Great Grandchildren; sister, Patricia Ann Morales (James); brother, Paul Hernandez; as well as nephews, great nieces great nephews and two step-grandchildren that he had a hand in raising.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Alice Trevino and special companion, Mary C. Salas.
