Troy Patrick Hallmark, 57, of Cuero passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024.  He was born March 24, 1966 in Cuero to Dianne and Curtis Hallmark Sr.  He proudly served more than ten years in the United States Army as a tanker.

Troy cherished every minute spent with family, loved his country and all things Texas, loved his dogs, and especially loved his time as a tanker in the Army.

He is survived by his mother, Dianne; daughter, Joanna Hallmark of Hof, Germany; his brothers, Curtis Hallmark Jr. (Julie) of Grand Prairie, TX and Gary Hallmark (Sonya) of Myrtle Beach, SC; grandchildren, Emily and Lijan Mielitz of Hof, Germany; his nephew and niece, Thomas Hallmark and Jennifer Hallmark-Laul; and many loving aunts and cousins, especially Chris Cervantes, Donovan Cervantes and Derek Hess who he considered as brothers.

At every step of the way in his battle with cancer, he leaned on his cousin, Patti Gott and cousin-in-law, Roni Cervantez (aka 'his sister'). He was grateful to have them to hold his hand when things were tough.

He is preceded in death by his father, Curtis Sr. and his beloved grandmother, Helen Hallmark.

Troy was a huge lovable character who will be missed by everyone who knew him.
