Obituary
Velma Thieme, 90, of Grapevine passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013. She was born April 20, 1922 in Weesatche to the late Roy and Nola Cravey Barrett. She married her beloved husband J.R. Thieme on June 17, 1942 in Corpus Christi.
She is survived by her son, Joe Thieme and wife, Maria; daughter-in-law, Jackie Thieme; grandchildren, Thomas Thieme, Wade Thieme, and Susan Brantley; and 4 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Thomas Thieme and sister, Therma Edworthy.
A Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Meyersville with John Boor officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
