IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Victor R.
Boehl
September 19, 1933 – October 6, 2018
Victor Rudolph Boehl of Westhoff went to his heavenly home on October 6, 2018.
He was born on September 19, 1933, the son of Adolph F. and Ella Schroeder Boehl. He was baptized on January 7, 1934 at St. John Lutheran Church in Westhoff. He was confirmed on March 21, 1948 at St. John Lutheran Church in Westhoff.
He married Nelda Arndt on April 9, 1961 at St. John Lutheran Church in Lindenau by Pastor Richard Cross.
Family was very important to him. He is survived by his wife of 57 years; son, Bryan (Marlene) Boehl and daughter Natalie Carson; grandchildren, Kelby (Megan) Boehl, Megan (Curtis) Castillo, Brady (Lexy) Boehl and Christopher (Hannah) Carson; 6 great grandchildren; and brother, Ervin (Lydia) Boehl.
He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Westhoff and Westhoff American Legion Post 369. He served in the United States Army within the transportation department stationed in Panama. He was a truck driver for 57 years, having driven for Gulf Coast Wood Products where he traveled to all but five of the main land states and later drove for Allied Feeds. On weekends, you could see him on his John Deere tractor on the farm and always ready to spend time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. As he entered the gates of heaven, we feel sure that God had an 18-wheeler and a John Deere tractor ready for him.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Leroy Boehl.
