Obituary
Victor M. Vasquez Sr., 87, of Cuero went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 6, 2011. He was born May 9, 1932 in Nordheim to the late Louis and Leonarda Martinez Vasquez.
He is survived by his daughters, Mary Jane Quintanilla and husband, Ray, of Victoria and Esther Gonzales and husband, Umberto, of La Feria; sons, Rev. Joe L. Vasquez of Victoria and Victor Vasquez Jr. of Austin; sisters, Mary Hernandez of Cuero and Juanita Garza of Cuero; 10 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Christin Munoz, Margarita Garza, and Damasia Rodriguez; and brothers, Luis Vasquez, Rafael Vasquez, and Nacadiro Vasquez.
A memorial service will be held Friday, March 11, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Freund Funeral Home with Rev. Esther and Umberto Gonzales officiating.
