Vincent Joseph DiGiantomasso, 86, of Cuero passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016. He was born January 26, 1930 to Joseph Anthony and Rose Marie DiGiantomasso in Detroit, Michigan. Vincent married the love of his life, Marlene Ann Ruschhaupt on December 22, 1952 in Cuero. He served in the United States Air Force from July 1948 through July 1952 and played semi-professional baseball for the Victoria Rosebuds as short stop. Vincent enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid golfer. He is survived by daughter Cheryl Ann DiGiantomasso; and grandchildren, Andrew Vincent Moore and Jessica Gonowon of Cary, North Carolina and Sarah and Dustin Turner of Austin. He was preceded in death by parents; and wife, Marlene. Visitation will be Sunday, February 28, 2016 at 2 p.m. with a Memorial Service starting at 3 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home with Father David Berger officiating.
