Weldon Willis Washington, Jr., 46, of Houston passed away Friday, March 19, 2021.  He was born March 6, 1975 in Cuero Texas to the late Weldon Willis Washington, Sr. and Deborah Littles Washington.  Weldon was a well known and well loved man.  His career started as a barber, then exploring into wine as a wine specialist at Specs, adventuring into UPS as a nighttime supervising stocker whom took pride in his work.  He married Kay Lewis in April of 2007 and had twin daughters in November of 2009.  He was a Cuero basketball star.  He enjoyed camping, fishing and loved his guns.  He was a wonderful big brother and an idol to a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.  He was a devoted son and husband, but most of all a loving dedicated father to his daughters, which were his whole world.

He is survived by his loving wife of fourteen years, Kay Washington; daughters, Savannah and Cheyenne Washington; mother, Deborah Littles Washington; sisters, Shardae Washington and Jennifer Washington; brother, Terrance Washington; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Weldon Willis Washington, Sr.

Weldon will be lying in state on Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 12 PM – 5 PM at Freund Funeral Home.  Graveside Services will be held Friday, April 2, 2021, 11 AM at Hillside Cemetery.

Honorary Pallbearers include Terrance Washington, Shawn Washington, Leslie Bell, Omar Littles, Troy Brazil, Chris Johnson, Ke'Aier Denton and Carlton Johnson, Jr.

Memorial contributions may be made payable to Freund Funeral Home to be deposited into a college fund account for Savannah and Cheyenne Washington.
