Wesley Jackson "Jackie" May, 69, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2011 in Cuero. He was born on July 7, 1941 to the late Otis May and Loyce Boone May of Cuero. He was an oilfield worker, and construction worker.
He is survived by his wife Julia M. May, whom he married on June 25, 1960 in Cuero; sons, James W. May of Cuero and John K. May (Lynn) of Cuero; sister, Joyce L. Maness (Walter) of Cuero; sister-in-laws, JoAnn Shows (Olan) of Cuero and Hilda May of Cuero; brother, Ted May (Rhonda) of Cuero; three grandsons; and two granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Billie R. May
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Trinity Church, Cuero. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Trinity Church, Cuero, with John Mueller officiating. There will be a private burial in Westhoff Cemetery following the services.
Pallbearers are Dustin May, T.R. Repka, Tyler Kimbrel, Charles May, David May and Leslie Lucas. Honorary Pallbearers are Henry Martin, Ray Wright, Michael Drake, Don Spence and Tommy Rogers.
