William "Bill" Reese Bowen, 77, of Corpus Christi passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021. He was born April 17, 1944 in Cuero to John D. and Sybil Stevens Bowen. He married Dorothy Yvette Baker on October 1, 1977 in Bossier City, LA. Bill proudly served in the United States Air Force and after 20 years, he retired.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Yvette Bowen; daughters, Billie (Robert) Myrick of Leesville, LA, Billie Diane Bowen of Lakebay, WA, Tammy (Krist) Strassenberg of Jacksonville, FL and Debbie (Jimmy) Payne of Albany, GA; sons, Kenneth (Cheryl) Bowen of Corpus Christi and William Christopher Collins of Albany, GA; sister, Diane (Milton) Blaschke of Cuero; brother, Douglas (Louise) Bowen of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Brendan, Valyn and Cannon Myrick of Leesville, LA, Kristin Caldwell and Kaliegh Strassenberg of Jacksonville, FL, Kayleigh and Harvey Cousins and John W. Bowen of Lakebay, WA.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Raymond Bowen and grandson, Jonathan Badger.

Memorial Services will be held November 6, 2021, 11:30 am at Cuero Church of Christ, located at 1100 McArthur St.
