William Ray Crenshaw, 75, of Cuero, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018. He was born January 18, 1943 in San Benito to the late Everette and Chlois Hartsell Crenshaw. William married the love of his life, Ann Calvin, on May 9, 1965 in Pearsall. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 13 years. Afterwards, William became an aircraft mechanic for Victoria Aviation for 20 years before retiring. William was said to have lived his life to the fullest everyday.
William is survived by his wife of 52 years; sons, William R. Crenshaw Jr. of Point Venture, Brian D. Crenshaw of Edge Water, MD , and Patrick E. Crenshaw of Richmond; and his grandchildren, Ethan (22) of Houston, Hannah (21) in the US Army, Ana (21) of North Carolina, Madison (20) of Lubbock, Koya (18) of Edgewater, MD, Mackenzie (17) of Richmond, Sonnet (19) of Baycity, Maddox (14) of Edge Water, Matthew (12) of Point Venture, William (12) of Point Venture, and Michael (11) of Point Venture.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The visitation will be held Friday, March 30, 2018 from 12-2 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. The Memorial service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Brown officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will include Bruce Baunknight MD, David Hill MD, Jennifer Gonzales MD, Hassan Sabbagh MD, and Juan Llomport MD.
