Obituary
William R. Hedges, 83, of Cuero passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014. He was born April 28, 1931, in Cuero to the late Charles Russell and Angelina Frenzel Hedges. William was a longtime resident of Corpus Christi.
He is survived by his brother; James E. Hedges of Georgetown; sister, Gala Fay Hopwood of Corpus Christi; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Anna Mae Hedges, Lillian Havard, Mary L. Meitzen, Agnes Jean Hedges, and Wanda Louise Young; brothers, Charles Harvey Hedges and Michael W. Hedges.
Visitation will be held Wednesday July 2, 2014, from 9-11 a.m. at Freund Funeral Home with the Rosary at 10:30 a.m. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at Freund Funeral Home with Deacon Tony Warzecha officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Joey Taylor, Leslie Lucas, Charles Papacek, and Monroe Rieger.
