William Henry Leithner, 76, of Cuero passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2022. He was born September 23, 1946 in Davenport, Iowa to William B. and Ida Mae Dada Leithner. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran. He graduated UT at Arlington with his Bachelor Degree in Social Science. He worked for the State of Texas in Information Technology. He married San Juanita "Janie" Aguilar on June 5, 1993. He enjoyed traveling and visiting different states to learn about the places and people. He also enjoyed studying history and visiting historical sites and listening to different musical genres.

He is survived by his loving wife of twenty-nine years, Janie; sons, Randl Leithner and Goerge Leithner both of Garland; sister, Susan Dubberly of Lipan; brothers, Eddie Leithner of Fort Worth and Richard Leithner of Joshua and grandson, Christian Leithner of Austin.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Janice Strober.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2022, 1:00 pm at Freund Funeral Home with a celebration of William's life to begin with military honors at 2:00 pm.
