CUERO - Willie Dee Davis, 90, of Cuero, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2009. She was born Feb. 18, 1919, in Concan, to the late Arthur Mills and Althia Mills. She was a healthcare LVN. She married Clinton Davis on Aug. 20, 1935 in Uvalde.
She is survived by her son, Bob Davis and wife Myrna of Cuero; brother, Oliver Mills and wife Billie of Uvalde; grandson, Robbe Davis and wife Karla of Cuero; granddaughters, Victoria Davis of Victoria and Debbie Kohl and husband Gary of Cuero; six great-grandchildren; 20 nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Chara Brown and husband Maurice; and brothers, Jack Mills and Arthur Mills Jr.
Special thanks to her caregivers, Ermalinda Villa Rhonda Ideus, Misty Scroggins, and Irene Mueller.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today, April 23, at Freund Chapel. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 24, at Freund Chapel with Mr. Bill Gleason officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Billy Brown, Marvin Brown, Dennis Brown, Jerry Leupkes, James Pearce, Arthur Mills, Bryan Mills, Mark Mills, Preston Mills, and Allen Clark.
