Willie B Denmon, 74, of Cuero, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015. He was born on January 16, 1941, in Giddings, to the late Johnnie Denmon and Macy Rucker Denmon. He served in the Navy from August 28, 1959 until November 7, 1961. On September 3, 1987, he married the love of his life Myrtle B. Denmon.
He is survived by his beloved wife; daughters, Carolyn Armstrong, Paula Hopkins, and Geraline Armstrong, all of Cuero; sons, Ronald Denmon (Demitri), Donald Denmon (RaShonda), both of Los Angeles, CA, Johnnie Denmon (Rhonda) of Pearland, Willie Denmon Jr. (Diane) of Las Vegas, NV, Carlesly Armstrong Jr. of Cuero, Arnold Armstrong of Yoakum, and Randell Armstrong (Cynthia) of Houston; sister, Dorothy Haywood (Cisco) of Corpus Christi; 28 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Georgia Armstrong; and brothers, Johnnie Denmon and Sterling Denmon.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 28, 2015 from 6-8 pm. Funeral mass will be held Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 11 am at My Father's House Church with Pastor Paula Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow at Lockhart Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Arnold Armstrong, Michael Hopkins, Zechariah Hopkins, D'Anthony Hopkins, Mitchell Armstrong, and Noah Brooks. Honorary pallbearers include all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
