Obituary

Zora Mae Koczaja "Koch", 87, of Cuero passed away Thursday, August 28, 2014. She was born April 26, 1927, in Yorktown to the late Alfred Lemke and Ella Lincke Lemke. She married Stanley F. Koczaja in Cuero in 1943. Zora was the owner of the What Not Antique Shop in Cuero for many years. She loved dancing and was a great cook and homemaker.

She is survived by her daughter, Joyce M. McCauley of Cuero; son, Richard J. Koczaja of Cuero; grandchildren, Molly M. Kelly (Brian) of Nashville, TN and Katy L. Dy (Donald) of San Francisco, CA; and great-grandson, Matthew Kelly of Nashville, TN.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Evelyn Talley and Alfreda Sanders; and brother, Leon Lemke.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 30, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church with the Rosary at 1:30 p.m. Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2014, at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father David Berger officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
